This summer, Anthony Lloyd is taking on the extraordinary challenge of the NorthCape4000 for the Opportunity Centre.
We are keen to keep you updated with what your child has been doing at The Opportunity Centre. We use a system called Tapestry, which is a safe and secure online Learning Journey tool.
All Nurture, Rising 3s and Preschool children attending our setting have a personal online Learning Journey, which records photos, observations, and comments in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage to build up a record of your child’s experiences during their time with us.
You will have secure access to your child’s Learning Journey. In addition to viewing our contributions, we encourage you to add to it by uploading photos and comments or commenting on observations made by us. Please note you are not permitted to share photos from Tapestry on social media
Once you have provided us with consent and an email address, we will be able to set you up with an account. A link will be sent to your email address for you to create your login details, including your own pin to use the app, which can be downloaded to smart phones and tablets.
If you do not have access to email, your child is still able to have an online Learning Journey, which you can view using IT equipment at the Centre.
