If you are a parent or carer of a child or young person aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), Gloucestershire wants to hear from you.
The Annual Parent Carer SEND Survey is your chance to say what is working well, what could be better and what matters most to your family – across education, health, care and planning for the future. It is run by Gloucestershire's SEND and Inclusion Local Area Partnership, which includes Gloucestershire County Council, local NHS partners and the voluntary and community sector.
Survey open: Monday 5 October 2026
Survey closes: Friday 4 December 2026

Last year 679 parent carers took part, but most had school-aged children. This year the Partnership particularly wants to hear from:
Every response helps improve support for children, young people and their families – so whether your child is a toddler or a young adult, your experience counts.
If you'd find it easier to complete the survey with a little support, just speak to a member of our team at drop-off or pick-up and we'll be happy to help.
What families say is used to shape support and services across education, health, care and early help – and it is making a difference. The findings are published each year in a 'you said, we did' report. You can read the latest one, published in September 2026:
