A Tearful Farewell to Hayley and Elaine

A Tearful Farewell to Hayley and Elaine

As we welcome in Spring at the Centre and look forward to spending even more time outdoors with the children and (hopefully!) enjoy some lovely weather, we also have to say a very sad farewell to two much loved members of staff.

Hayley Badman joined the Centre several years ago as a volunteer, worked her way up to Joint Centre Manager and has worked tirelessly in this role to support and improve the lives of the children and their families who are referred to the Centre. Working for a charity often means going above and beyond the call of duty and Hayley was an exceptional example of someone who would donate her time in the evenings and weekends to support the Centre and its work. She will be missed greatly by both her colleagues and the families who attend the Centre but we all wish her success in her next venture.

Another great loss to the team in February was Elaine Screen, who joined the Centre some eight years ago and has been a well known face to all parents and staff during her time here. She has manned the front desk for the past four years and has been the main point of contact for anyone getting in touch with the Centre. Her in-depth knowledge of the day to day behind the scenes workings of the Charity will be sorely missed. We have yet to confirm who will replace Elaine. Good luck Elaine in your next adventure.
